Visitors to my Blog
It just amazes me that there are still so many visitors to my blog. Today, besides those from the States, there is one from Australia, Thailand (my daughter), China and Spain. I would love to know who is visiting here. Please feel free to click on "comments" and leave a comment for me.

I'll go first... I was very inspired by your strength and faith in China. I admire how your family perservered when Janelle was grieving so much. I am SO happy to see her smiling. She is looking more and more beautiful by the day.

Hi Starla,
I've been checking in regularly since your travels. It is great to see Janelle smiling! My first daughter was adopted through AH and that is how I found your blog to begin with.
Take care,
Kate
I, too, started following your blog during the tough days in China when someone in my (Lifelink) agency's yahoo group linked to your blog with a request for prayers. It is nice to see answered prayers and smiles now :)
Last year we also took a leap of faith when we adopted a four year old Waiting Child from China. We had requested a heart baby, and were a bit in shock when we were offered a four year old. We could have easily passed and waited for an infant, but we had already prayerfully asked God to match us with whoever He saw fit...so we shocked our case worker by saying "yes" before we even saw her file or her face.
God works in mysterious ways, and I'm happy to say He made the perfect match for our family!
As a long time digital scrapbooker, I was pleased to see we have that in common, too :)

Starla,
Well we connected way before you travelled but my heart was so heavy for you those first few days... we have similar parenting styles so knew you'd get there and what a joy to see the transformation in your beautiful smiling daughter.
I know the journey is not over and we got a 3+ year old, but have had our share of challenges as well and they are still being worked on. We wait on our last and who knows what kind of child we will have this time - only God knows and as I wonder how I will do it again - I know He gives me only what I can handle so have peace in this wisdom.
I rarely post but regularly view as you do mine !
God Bless - Lavonne
Hi Starla,
I have been a regular visitor to your blog since you went to China for Janelle. I prayed and sent strength to you during those first days in China and back home. We have a 7 year old who has been quite a challenge but who, after 18 months, is more of us than not. It is so, so good to see Janelle smile. It warms my heart.
FYI, we are from Madison, Wisconsin.

Hi Starla, You were in one of my yahoo travel groups and traveled shortly after my husband picked up our 8 year old Joanna. He too had a very difficult time initially, and when I read him some of your posts requesting prayer, he took your requests to his men's Tuesday morning Bible study. I have continued to follow to see how the adjustment is coming, and I am so pleased to see things on an up-scale. We too have struggled at times, but when you have confidence that God is directing your family, it makes the difficult times much easier.

I have been folloing along ( from australia)
And I am amazed at your wonderful family!!
you are a true inspriration to me!
Hello from West Virginia. I stop by frequently, drawing strength from Janelle-- what a brave soul. Her smiles are indeed warming, but there's also something about her eyes, which seem to communicate thoughts too deep for someone so young. We are waiting for our daughter, who is four years old with some special needs. Sometimes I worry about the difficulties that lay ahead for her, and whether we are up to the task to help her through what are sure to be difficult times. But then, I visit here, and am reminded that journeys begin with a single step, are walked with faith, without knowing the final destination. Please tell Janelle that she is a remarkable young lady who is helping more people than she can know.
Hi--I have been following your blog fairly regularly since you travelled to China. It is such a blessing to see Janelle blossoming into such a beautiful and happy young lady!
